Halesowen Town manager Morrel Mason picked up his first win at the seventh time of asking, thanks to a 2-1 triumph at home to Bromsgrove Rovers on Tuesday evening in the BGB Premier Division.
Despite, falling behind the Yeltz fought back well to equalise through Dennis Pearce before new Portugese signing Eldon Maquemba slotted home a second half winner on his home debut.
Maison also handed home debuts to former Gillingham full back David Perpuetini and Norwich City forward Zema Abbey.
Halesowen will be back at the Grove this Saturday when they host Rugby Town before travelling to Rugby next Tuesday(November 20) in the Errea Cup.
One player who will not be taking part is midfielder Lee Williams after he was released by the club.
The former skipper had turned out 75 times for the Yeltz.
