Halesowen Town's promotion credentials will be put to the test as they face up to a busy festive period including a mouth-watering Boxing Day trip to Bromsgrove Rovers.
The Yeltz have shot up to fifth in the BGB Premier Division under the guidance of manager Morell Maison and will be going into the busy festive period with expectation rather than trepidation.
General manager, Colin Brookes, feels confident going into hectic schedule which starts with a trip to Brackley on Saturday.
Brrokes said: "This is a very important stage of the season for every club but we will go into it with confidence.
"The new management team have put us into a position we probably didnt expect to be in at this time in the season which is very encouraging.
"I'm confident that after the Christmas and New Year period we will still be making in-roads.
Brookes highlighted the short trip to Bromsgrove Rovers on Boxing Day (1pm kick off) as a real Christmas cracker.
He added: "It's a big one for the club and one we are all looking forward particularly the supporters.
"There are a lot of lads at Bromsgrove who have got strong links with us and with Duane Darby now taking over as caretaker manager there is one more."
For Saturday's trip to fellow promotion hopefuls Brackley the Yeltz will be without left back David Perpuetini who serves a one match suspension although Paul Devlin (pictured) will be available after serving a three-match ban.
Causeway United bounced back from their disapponting FA Vase exit with a well-earned point away at league leaders Startford Town in the Midland Alliance on Saturday.
A superb second half showing finally paid dividends when Chris Busby levelled thing s up in the dying minutes.
United will host Westfields on Saturday at the War Memorial (3pm kick off) before tarvelling across the borough to face bottom of the table Cradley Town on Boxing Day.
Town will first have to travel to Atherstone this Saturday.
