Halesowen Town will be looking to keep the pressure on the leading pair of Kings Lynn and Team Bath with another home victory this Saturday.

The Yeltz chalked up a 5-1 win at home to Tiverton last Saturday to remain on the coat tails of the BGB Premier Division's top two.

Goals from Shane Paul, Stuart Pierpoint, Dean Brennan, Davion Hamilton and Eldon Maquemba sealed the big win over their West Country opponents and manager Morell Maison will be looking for more of the same when they welcome Bashley to the Grove at the weekend.

He said: "It was a cracking show against Tiverton.

"The way we moved and kept the ball was first-class and as soon as we scored the first it was not a case of will we be able to hold on but instead how many will we win by.

"We are now looking for more of the same against Bashley because we want to ensure we keep the pressure well and truly on Kings Lynn and Team Bath."

The Bashley game may come to soon for defenders Scott Lycett (knee) and Dennis Pearce (respiratory problems) after they picked up knocks in the last week.

With Decio Gomes suspended Maison could well be faced with a defender crisis especially with Nick Amos's future still in the balance.

Maison is keen to keep the 32-year-old but with Bromsgrove Rovers and Redditch United known to be interested it is still unclear whether he will remain a Yeltz player.

One player who will be available for Saturday is Portuguese youngster Leao Unjangue.

The 18-year-old has been training with the Yeltz for a number of weeks but only obtained international clearance last week.

Although only young and a little rough around the edges Maison has high hopes for the midfielder.

He said: "He's a precocious talent who plays with a great freedom and is not scared to try things.

"He's young and he has plenty to learn but he's somebody we've got big hopes for."

The Yeltz Reserves will be in action at the Grove next Tuesday when they welcome Kidderminster Harriers in the Central Conference.

A host of triallists are set to be on show and admission will be £2 for adults and £1 concessions.

They kicked off the campaign on Tuesday with an emphatic 4-1 win away at Telford United.

With a host of players unavailable the manager was forced to get his boots out and name himself as a substitute although he was not needed.

Cradley Town will be looking to keep their good start to 2008 going when they travel to Studley on Saturday (3pm kick-off).

Town, although still bottom of the Midland Alliance, have seen an up-turn in fortune since Marcus McDonald was named manager back in December.

Causeway United are still chasing promotion after they picked up an impressive 2-1 win away at Tipton.

United now sit in fourth place and will be hoping to put extra pressure on the teams above them by picking up three points against struggling Stapenhill on Saturday at The War Memorial Ground (3pm kick-off).
