Boss settles on squad
Halesowen Town boss Morell Maison has made his final throw of the dice in the transfer market as he bids to keep his side at the top of the table.
The Yeltz manager, who has guided his side to the top spot of the BGB Premier Division, followed up the loan signing of 19-year-old Reading reserve team striker Tom Piotrowski by signing up former Birmingham City midfileder Milton Elenge.
The 22-year-old, who after his release from the Blues had been on the books of Milwall, joined Town on Monday until the end of the season.
Meanwhile a trio of players have departed the Grove.
Young striker Patrick Peters has joined Bromsgrove Rovers, defender Kameron Abassi has signed for Brackley while Decio Gomes has returned to Portugal.
Maison said: "We've now got our squad of players together which we will have for the rest of the season and I'm pleased with what we've got.
"We've brought in Tom and Milton.
"They will give us some good competition.
"Milton is a six foot two box to box midfielder who will give us something different.
"He will be in the squad for Saturday's home game against Swindon Supermarine."
Last weekend the Yeltz made it six wins on the bounce thanks to a 2-1 win away at Corby Town courtesy of a Dean Brennan double.
The game also saw the much-anticipated return of striker Zema Abbey.
The former Norwich City frontman has been out injured for more than six weeks but made a return off the bench at the Rockingham Triangle on Saturday.
Maison believes his return could be a key factor between now and the end of the season.
The boss added: "Our good run of form has been based on the wealth of experience we have in this side.
"When you've got players like Mark Osborn, Dennis Pearce, Nick Amos , Darren Caskey and Dean Brennan, you've got players who have been there and got the t-shirt and Zema is another one in that category.
"He is a big player for us and his return is a massive bonus for us."
While the Yeltz welcome Swindon to the Grove on Saturday (3pm kick-off) their two championship rivals will go head-to-head when second-placed Team Bath travel to Kings Lynn.
