Title shot axed
Dudley's Darren McDermott has been left in limbo after discovering his shot at the British Middleweight title next week has been postponed.
"Macca" discovered earlier today his fight against Birmingham-based champion Wayne Elcock at Aston Events Centre on Friday April 25 would not be going ahead.
The fight was axed after Elcock withdrew due to a severe chest infection.
The news will come as a big blow to the "Black Country Bodysnatcher", who has been training for the clash ever-since he fought Kai Kauramaki last October.
A new date or venue are yet to be announced.
