Old Halesonians built on their impressive away victory in the First Round of the EDF Cup to trounce Telford 63-0 in their first match of the new league season.
The Old Hales abrasive pack was the cornerstone of the victory.
The visitors got off to a ideal start with them scoring a try inside the first minute courtesy of new signing Ben Smith.
Other highlights included a dream debut from John Martin who scored a hat trick of tries in the easy victory.
Coach Gary Cox said: "Our training on Thursday was strangely lacklustre to say the least, but we then turn out on Saturday with a performance like that perhaps that's the secret.
"We never allowed the opposition into the game and I have to say the combined passing between the forwards and threequarters was simply superb at times.
"It is still early in the season and there is a long way to go and we must and continue to work hard and the results will come our way."
Next Week Old Halesonians play Willenhall at Wassell Grove.
