Dudley Kingswinford RFC are awaiting the visit of fellow relegation candidates Peterborough to Heathbrook this Saturday in a game joint head-coach Neil Shillingford is billing as a "must win" encounter.
DK currently sit four points adrift of Peterborough and Scunthorpe at the bottom Midlands Division One and with only a quarter of the season to go, games are running out.
Shillingford along with Mark Lockley are now busily preparing the troops for the club's biggest game of the season.
Shillingford said: "This is a massive game for us and I think it's fair to say this is basically a must-win game, because if we don't I really think we are going to be staring down the barrel of relegation.
"We will go into the game confident with the knowledge that we are capable of winning this fixture along with rest of the games between now and the end of the season."
Shillingford, who is expecting to be without the key trio of Simon Fletcher, Tom Weaver and Gareth Davies for crunch clash, is hoping for a big crowd to turn out to cheer the side on.
He added: "The crowd were a great help when we beat South Leicester at home a couple of weeks ago and it would be a real lift for the players to have similar support this week."
The clash at Heathbrook will kick-off at 2.15pm.
