THE seemingly unstoppable Dudley Kingswinford RFC Colts were again in destructive form as they bashed Moseley to one side to reach the North Midlands Cup Final.
The DK starlets moved into the final for the fourth year running thanks to a superb 10-5 away win.
The Mark Lockley and Neil Shillingford coached team will now be hoping to bring home the silverware in the final to be played against local rival Stourbridge.
The visitors opened the scoring thanks to a perfectly executed catch and drive which allowed hooker Tom Lockley to touch down.
Jordan Brookes added the conversion and a penalty to give DK a 10-0 lead.
The hosts hit back with a converted try of their own before the break.
Despite a second-half that had over nine minutes of time added on, the Heathbrook side held on to seal their place in the final.
The confidence-boosting victory leaves the youngsters in good heart ahead of their National Colts Cup semi-final away to Nuneaton on April 12.
The news was not so good for the first team who suffered a heavy defeat away at Dunstablians.
