Duo honoured
Enville Cricket Club kicked off preparations for the new season with their annual dinner at the Fox at Stourton.
An excellent evening was topped off with two long-standing club contributors receiving honourary life memberships. Jon Roe has a long association with the club and has been coaching the first team for the last two years, while club statistician, Mike King, was also honoured for his outstanding contributions to the club.
The club also made the most of Cricket Force weekend by sprucing up the pavilion with a fresh lick of paint.
Outdoor nets will start from Tuesday April 15, while the junior nets will get underway on Friday April 25.
