BUSH Athletic made it through to the final of the Dudley and Cradley Heath Sunday League's Thornleigh Freight Trophy with a 2-0 win against Halesowen Members.
Richard Price scored the only goal of the first half before James Weston wrapped up the victory in the scored period.
In group one of the John Higham Memorial Trophy, Dudley Borough United beat Willenhall Three Crowns 6-2 and Sedgley White Lion beat Malt Dudley 4 - 2.
Group two saw Barley Mow Wanderers claim a 3-0 away win over Forest Falcons.
Barley Mow started the game dominantly and took an early lead when a Chris Hoult cross was side footed in by John Benham. Donny Shinn made the score 2-0 after half time when he capitalised on a Forest Falcons mistake and coolly chipped the goalkeeper. Steve Brookes completed the scoring following a Stephen Bradnick corner. Falcons were awarded a penalty in stoppage time but Barley Mow captain Andrew Bishop make a brilliant stop to keep his clean sheet.
In the Premier Division, Britannia and Pensnett United shared six goals.
Pensnett started brightly and in the opening 15 minutes had efforts that hit the bar and post ?as they settled well. Britannia came back into the game and It looked like it would end all square until a corner was turned in on the stroke of half time by Aaron Lloyd.
The second half saw Britannia start the brighter and they got back into the game when a cross from Liam Shaw was headed home by Matt Morris on 65 minutes. It looked like Britannia would take the points after goals by Richard Owen and Matt Morris made it 3-1 with 15 minutes to go. But a quick-fire double from Sean Sanders meant the game ended 3-3.
In Division 1, Kewford Eagles Seniors beat Hadcroft Rovers 7-5 away from home.
Hadcroft raced in to an early two goal lead thanks to Matthew Chamberlain and Damon Lewis. Kewford hit back with a brace from Steven Jevons.
Matthew Chamberlain, Brian Jones and Elliot Lawley then scored for Hadcroft before another two for Kewford's Steven Jevons, a double for Craig Hunt and one from Lee Ledington gave the visitors the win.
Coseley Tavern beat Lloyds 6-1 with the help of a hat-trick from Scott Scriven.
