ATHLETES from Dudley Kingswinford Running Club ventured to mid Wales on Sunday for the annual Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon, a 13-mile road race.
The fastest times were achieved by Graham Wildgoose who was first back for the club in 188th in 1.33.16, followed by Mark Gatenby who was 190th in 1.33.41 and Mark Judge finished in 1.34.21 in 210th place. Richard Tonks was 234th in 1.35.38. Roger Beddard came home in 1.40.14 for 352nd to claim 2nd place in his age group, John Andrews was 390th in 1.42.37 and Paul Baker was 393rd in 142.05. They were followed by Jason Richards in 1.43.50, Catherine Quane in 1.44.05, Mick Quane in 1.44.06, David Fennell in 1.47.52, Dave Garbutt in 1.48.08, Helen Davies in 1.49.46, Sarah Cox in 1.49.52, Jacqui Elson-Whittaker in 1.50.53.
