Tables were turned in the space of seven days as Trysull FC hit back to sink their neighbours in the Beacon Sunday League's Chell Cup.

For the second time in a week Trysull FC took on arch rivals Trysull Athletic in a 353 Photography sponsored group qualifier and, in the return tie, it was the former who ran out worthy 5-0 winners, writes Dave McLean.

The previous weekend had seen Trysull FC concede five against Athletic, but it was a completely different story this week as Carrick Chaney struck an excellent treble to secure his side's first group win in three.

Also on target for Trysull FC were Will Lochhead and Al Lochhead. While group leaders Brandhall Colts were without a fixture, AFC Sporting Gornal made it three wins in four, running out comfortable 5-1 away victors at neighbouring Sedgley Rangers.

Inflicting most damage for Sporting Gornal was Lewis Round with a fine four goal return, supported by a single from Sam Stokes.

In The Sports Shop Kingswinford sponsored Clinton Cup group, Wombourne Athletic opened up a three point advantage as they hit visiting Sedgley & Gornal United West for six.

It was a good weekend for Wombourne and leading marksman Harry Lammas who notched four as his outfit claimed a second win in three. Also on target for Athletic, in a 6-1 triumph, was Harry's brother Harlie and Jack Clarke.

In the final game this week, AFC Bloxwich opened their Clinton Cup fixtures with a narrow 3-2 away success at AFC Goldthorne.

Sharing the goal limelight for Bloxwich were the trio of Rob Hinks, Reece Berry and Kawsu Bojang, with Jack Cooper and Tom Gwinnell keeping things close for the hosts.
