Table-topping Town make it six out of six

HALESOWEN Town U9s made it a sensational six wins out of six courtesy of a 3-2 win over Solihull Juniors.

The victory over their nearest rivals also enabled them to stretch their lead at the top of the table.

Dru Welch netted twice, with one from the penalty spot and George Walker scored a late winner in what was a thrilling game.

The U12s went down 8-2 against Himley Hawks.

Tom Morris netted two consolation goals.

The U15s were 4-0 winners over North Birmingham Celtic.

Goals were scored by Dale Collins (2), Alex Osborne and Jamie Tomlinson.

The U14s won their League Cup first round tie against fellow division one side Central Ajax 7-1.

Harvey Pearson opened the scoring from the spot, which started the onslaught. Kyle Thomas got himself a hat-trick, with Luke Clarke, Oliver Long and Charlie Doman-Lees all getting one each.

The U13s ran out 2-1 winners over Knowle Juniors in the Open Cup.

Goals were scored by Dan Smith and Ryan Andrews.

The U16s triumphed 2-1 over Black Country Rangers in the Birmingham County FA Minor Challenge Cup.

Central Warwickshire League met Stourbridge League in the second round of the Minor Challenge Cup.

After a close game it was Halesowen who go through to the third round.

Goals were scored by Conor Paterson and Stefan Ashman.

HALAS HAWKS.

Girls league In a fantastic advert for girls football the U10s east managed to gain a hard fought 2-1 win over Dudley.

Following an even start to the match, Halas took the lead through a strong shot by Shannon Stamps, followed by a second goal which came from a volley by Abigail Gennard.

Another strong performance from the U13s against Angels saw them run out 7-2 winners.

On the scoresheet were Lauren Taylor (2), Megan Ingram, Katie Hickman, Rhianne Murray, Sophie Kinsey and player of the match, Liz McAleenan.

Boys league In very difficult conditions the U15s put on a display of all round dominance in every position on the pitch to remain top of the league. Goals came from Amin Ali (3), Josh Spencer (2), Edward Leeson and Jamie Hewitt in a 7-2 win.

The man of the match award went to Alex Dudley.

The U9s West drew 1-1 with Withymoor.

Shannon Stamps was on the scoresheet while Harry Wakeman picked up the man of the match award.

The U10s West took on league leaders Netherton and after a bright start took the lead through a Cameron Milne penalty, but Netherton then dominated and ran out 7-1 winners.

Man of the match went to Nathan Postin.

The U11s beat Kewford 3-2 with goals from Jack Bagley, Adam Baker and Jack Guest.

Man of the match went to Thomas Bagley.

The U12s East beat Bilbrook 2-1 to continue their impressive current form.

On a difficult pitch the boys battled well and stuck to their passing game with goals coming from Reece Marks and Josh March.

Man of the match went to the influential Jon Rizzo.

BRIERLEY AND HAGLEY CELTIC The U11s beat Netherton Colts East courtesy of goals from Joe Shaw (2) and man of the match Sebastian Chater.

OLDSWINFORD YOUTH The U10s drew 3-3 with Gornal Colts North.

On the scoresheet was Jordan Tranter (2) and Jess Smith with Liam Simmons picking up the man of the match award.

The U12s went down 3-2 to Stourbridge Glassboys.

Consolation goals were scored by man of the match Aidan Price and James Checketts.

The U13s East trimphed 2-0 over Rowley Rhinos courtesy of a Tom Garratt brace.

The man of the match award went to Reece Dawes.

The U14s went down 4-2 against AKA Northbridge despite of two goals from Dan Fellows.

The U16s were defeated 5-2 by Hasbury Rangers.

On the scoresheet were Julian Lewis and man of the match Richard Taylor.

BRIERLEY HILL BULLETS.

The U10s West won 2-1 against Black Country Rangers.

Man of the match Jack Pritchard and Chad Dingley were on the scoresheet.

The U12s North were 5-0 winners over the Black Country Rangers. Niall Clarke scored a hat-trick while Liam Jones and Jake Anders also scored.

Daniel Prichard was named man of the match.

The U13s West won 6-1 against Gornal Colts.

Goals were scored by Jordan Paraszxkak (3), Kai Cartwright, Danny Hall and Yurgan Driza.

Connagh Mctighe was named man of the match.

PENSNETT PANTHERS.

The U14s were beaten 9-0 by Kingswinford FC.

The man of the match award went to Jorden Scriven.

The U15s West were beaten 6-2 by Withymoor Colts.

On the scoresheet were Tom Stevens and Pete Bate with Tommy Bloomer picking up the man of the match award.

The U16s were 4-0 winners over Stourton Lions.

Goalscorers were Ashley Bateman, Jack Hawkins, Matt Jones, Ryan Brookes with Josh Evans picking up the man of the match award.

The U16s girls defeated Withymoor Colts East 3-1.

On the scoresheet were Sarah Preston (2) and Rachel Preston with Sarah Davies picking up the player of the match award.
