BEN Walton struck a hat-trick as Dudley Sports under-16s beat Hasbury Rangers 5-2, Mitch Pountney and Adam Mercy grabbing the other goals.

There was also joy for the U15s who had a William Spruce double to thank for their 3-2 success at Black Country Rangers.

The U13s went down 5-1 to Sedgley White Lions West, while the U12s were involved in a thriller - eventually losing out 6-4 to Stourbridge.

Jack Shepherd, Connor Gordon, Peter Johnson and Cameron Wilkinson were on target for Sports.

Chloe Gwilliams got a brace and Sian Pilkington also scored as the U17 girls beat Welland 3-0.

Stourbridge Saul Hodgetts scored twice as the U16s won 4-0 at Stourport in the first game of the season.

Nathan Myers scored in the first half from the spot and Stour ran away with it after the break thanks to Hodgetts’ brace and another from Callum Perks.

The U15s B enjoyed a fine 3-0 win at Stratford Town, while there was also joy for the U15s A who overcame Halesowen Harrier Minors.

Less happy were the U14s who were on the wrong end of a 7-1 hammering at Shrewsbury. The U13s lost 4-0 to Wigston United and the U18s 6-0 to Stratford.

Elsewhere, Callum McKenna put the U12s A 1-0 up against Southam but they conceded a last minute equaliser to share the spoils.

Halas Hawks Hannah Fellows hit an incredible 17 goals as Halas Hawks girls U10s hammered Gornal by a 31-0 score line.

The girls played some outstanding football at times with Chloe Randall, Tilly Pearson and Lydia Bevan all making their debuts. The other goals were scored by captain Kelly Nicklin (6), Kirsty Hampton (4), Megan Hawley (3) and Lydia Bevan (1).

Louise Tromans scored for the U13s but this was only a consolation as they lost 3-1 to Sedgley White Lions.

Boys League Six different scorers helped the U16s to a crushing 6-2 win over Old Wulfrunians.

The scores were tied 2-2 at half-time but Halas pulled away in the second half. Goalscorers were Kieran Mcillduff, Kieran Hillsdon, Ben Hughes, Matt Ross, Alex Chappel and Adam Hodges.

A poor team performance from the U9s East ended with the lads losing 4-1 to an excellent Brandhall side. A goal just before half-time scored by Jack Plant should have been enough to kick start a Halas comeback but Brandhall ran out comfortable winners.

The U9s West also went down 3-1 to Sedgley White Lions in a entertaining end to end game, Harvey Brookes getting their goal.

There was better news for the U10s West who snatched a 1-1 draw at Kewford East thanks to Harry Williams’ strike.

Oliver Miller, Cameron Ralley and an own goal helped the U10s to a 3-0 win at Kewford Eagles, while Jack Clews and Jack Macfalane were on target as the U11s West drew 2-2 with Sedgley White Lions.

The U12s won 3-2 against Stourbridge Glassboys with goals from Nick Bennett (2) and Matthew Evans. Man of the match was Joshua Hanson.

Game of the week involved the U13s who lost 8-4 to Trysull Tigers West. Halas fought back from three down, only for the visitors to pull away again and clinch the win. Halas goals were scored by Cameron Milne, Matt Jones, Josh Bernard and Dylan Keeling.

A lively first half saw the U14s go one up at Trysull through Jack Guest and they ran out 3-1 winners in the second half, with Guest grabbing a second and Michael Eaton also on target.

Forest Falcons Jordan Bristow hit four as Forest Falcons U11s west beat their U11 east counterparts 6-2.

Frank Taylor and Ellis Simpson were also on target for the west while Kyle Hughes and Callum Willetts were scorers for the east.

The U12s west came from a goal down to win 3-2 against Tipton Utd where goals came from Conner Fell and a brace from Tyler Ashman.

Stuart Tibbetts got a pair as the U13s enjoyed a 4-1 win over Wrens Nest. Lewis Mountfield and Ross Pritchard were also on the mark.

The U9s east lost 0-1 to Dudley Town but the U9s west won 5-0 against CS Colts to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.

Elsewhere, the U12s east came out winners 5-3 against West Hagley West, the U14s lost 6-0 to Halesowen Town Colts and the U16s lost 3-1 to Soorma FC.
