DUDLEY AND CRADLEY LEAGUE.
It was back to the nitty gritty of the league after a host of cup games and in the Premier Division the top two both walked away with 4-2 wins.
Top of the table Pensnett United defeated Hurst Hill thanks to strikes from Dale Wood, Stuart Smith, Steve Phillips and Richard Bloomer.
Meanwhile, Montys remain in contention thanks to a four-goal salvo from Nathan Williams to defeat Netherton Liberals.
Wrens Nest keep in touch with a 4-2 victory against Dudley Borough.
Kyle Bennett and Ashley Braham were on target for Borough but they were unable to prevent Wrens Nest's win.
Jason Turner, Lewis Wright, Leon Fung and Paulo Piera bagged the all important goals for Wrens Nest Lodge Farm went goal crazy with a 7-2 result against Park Inn while Dudley FC and Caves battled out a 2-2 draw.
In Division One Sedgley Courthouse were in fine form to see off the challenge of Crown Netherton.
Steve Davies secured five goals in a 9-4 away win.
Short Heath were 4-2 winners against The Gate.
Tyrone Perkinson opened the scoring John Mason Chris Weston and Steve Westbrook putting Short Heath 4-0 up A late rally from Gate failed to prevent defeat, Steve Stockton and Carl Yates replying.
Struggling Servo Steels provided a surprise result winning at league leaders Coseley Jockey 3-2.
Tividale Knights and Dudley Bush Old boys battled out a thrilling encounter.
Bush nicked a 5-4 away win with goals from Lloyd Anderson (2) Lee Chilton, Dan Bishop and Neil Corbett.
Knights replied with goals from Kevin Holland (2) and Philip Shepherd Netherton Liberals hit seven past Ten Arches without reply whilst Bushwackers recorded a 2-1 win at Cottage Spring.
