Wood wins it for West

A BRILLIANT Bret Wood hat-trick helped Oldswinford Youth U15s West to a 5-2 win over Wordsley Wasps.

Also on the scoresheet were Jake Hill and Joe Parkes with Daniel Payne and Dean Billingham being named joint men of the match.

The U11s West strolled to a 5-0 win over Pensnett Harriers.

On the scoresheet were Richard Wells (4) and Aidan Price with Chad Wood picking up the man of the match award.

Withymoor Tigers The U9s went second in Division Three with a hard fought 7-1 victory over Oldswinford Youth. On the scoresheet were Reece Colley (3), Rhys Webb (3) and Levi Spencer.

Kewford Eagles The U13s collected all three points with a fine 1-0 away win at second-placed Dartmouth Dynamos.

The all-important goal was scored by Daniel Townsend.

Brierley Hill Bullets The U8s were beaten 7-2 by Kingswinford East.

Goals were scored by Kieran Stanford and man of the match Ryan Perry.

The U9s East lost 2-0 to Penn Colts North.

The U10s East were 2-1 winners against Halas Hawks.

On the scoresheet were Ben Shaw and Jake Parkes.

The U12s East won 4-0 at home to Wordsley Wasps.

Goals were scored by man of the match Joe Colley (2), Daniel Howell and Connor Tromans.

The U12s West drew 2-2 with Gornal Colts South.

On the goal-trail were Alex Sharp and Kai Cartwright with Yurgen Driza picking up the man of the match award.

The U13s East also drew 2-2 with Oakham Raiders, on the scoresheet were joint men of the match Daniel Scriven and Daniel Raybould.

The U15s East drew 2-2 with West Hagley.

Goals were scored by Brad Guest and Brad Sharp with Leon Ewan picking up the man of the match award.

The U15s North claimed a 4-1 win over Forest Falcons.

Goals were scored by Ben Middleton (2), Lee Aston and Alex Healy.

The U16s defeated Weoey Castle 6-4.

Man of the match Juxhin Demiri scored a hat-trick while Edvis Pasaj (2) and Stephen Devonport were amongst the goals.

Pensnett Panthers The U10s were 6-2 winners over Kewford Eagles.

The goals were scored by Courtney Noakes (2), man of the match Ben Shaw (2), Thomas Griffiths and Harry Alan.

The U13s went down 4-2 Brockmoor Badgers.

Consolation goals were scored by Jordan Riaz and Scott Bennett with Jason Doherty picking up the man of the match award.

The U14s North were defeated 6-1 by Finchfield Tigers.

Goalscorer Ryan Cartwright picked up the man of the match award.

The U14s West went down 6-5 in a thrilling encounter against Wombourne Colts.

Goals were scored by Jason Meddings (2), Ben Ball, Ben Davies and Tom Stevens.

Callum Rose picked up the man of the match award.

The U15s drew 4-4 with Stourton Lions.

On the scoresheet were Ashley Bateman (3) and Brett Hughes, with Sam Abbis picking up the man of the match award.

The U17s were 7-0 winners over Longbridge Colts.

On the goal-trail were man of the match Matthew Armstrong (2), Ryan Noakes, Dean Robbins, Vivian Gayle, Liam Overton and Jason Round.

Black Country Rangers The U9s drew 1-1 at home to West Hagley North.

The Rangers goal was scored by man of the match Luke Johnson.

Forest Falcons The U8s East won 8-0 away at Gornal Athletic.

The U8s West drew 0-0 at home to Nunnery Scorpions.

The U9s East lost 5-0 at home to Kewford Eagles North.

The U10s East won 5-0 away at Gornal Colts North.

The U10s West won 11-1 at home to Warstones Wanderers West.

On the scoresheet were Connor Rich (3), Camron Lyness (2), Connor Mills (2), Liam Smart, Cody Crowley, Daniel Legge and man of the match Ben Holt.

The U10s North lost 2-0 at home to Rowley Rhinos Grey.

There was a 4-1 win for the U12s away at Netherton Colts West.

The U13s West won 2-0 at home to Bilbrook Juniors.

The U14s NSC drew 2-2 away at Phoenix Youth West, with goals coming from Thomas Westwood and Jack Ross.

The man of the match award went to James Bates.

The U14s East won 4-1 away at Ferndale Youth.

Withymoor Colts The U11s East lost 2-0 to Arley Kings in the semi-final of the Stourport League Cup.

The U11s South were beaten 4-3 by Rock Sports.

Consolation goals were scored by Luke Lonergan, James Simon and Charlie Merrick.

Halas Hawks Boys League The U8s West fought out a 1-1 draw against a Stourbridge Glassboys. Halas went one up through Cameron Keenan. Man of the match went to Jonty Round.

The U10s lost a close game against Brierley Hill Bullets 2-1.

The Halas goal came from James Harper with Charlie Bagley getting man of the match.

The U11s twice took the lead against Wordlsey Wasps through Jon Rizzo and man of the match Dan Willetts, but they couldn't keep up the tempo and lost 4-2.

The U13s went down 3-0 at Sedgley Scorpions with man of the match going to Chris Swancott.

The U14s also met Sedgley and ran-out 6-3 winners. The man of the match was awarded to Edward Leeson who scored one goal.

Also on the scoresheet were Jamie Hewitt, Adam Reece, Naiem Yafia, Josh Spencer and a long range effort from Drew Jones.

The U16s dominated their game from start to finish at Kidderminster and thoroughly deserved their 3-0 win, with goals from Greg Evans, Jay Gould and Craig Law.

Girls League The U10s progressed to the Merit Shield final courtesy of a 3-0 win over Gornal.

On the scoresheet were Abigail Gennard, Louise Edgerton and Sophie Blunt.

The U12s were defeated 4-1 by Withymoor.

The Halas goal came jus from joint player of the match Rhianne Murray.

The other joint player of the match was Chloe Cameron.

Unfortunate deflections led to two own goals from the U14s and despite some impressive play in the second half, they went out of the Merit Shield after losing to Withymoor 5-2. Halas goals came from Bethany Hall and Katie Wilkes.

The U16s crashed out of the Merit Shield after losing by the only goal of the match against Kingswinford.
