Celtic celebrate cup triumph
THE brilliant battle for the Premier Division title came to a head on Sunday and it was Pensnett United who came out on top at the expense of Montys as the two went head to head.
Following a battle throughout the season, the game provided a fitting finale to the season. Pensnett took full advantage of their chance and proved to be the better side as thet ran-out 3-1 winners.
David Mckenzie, Adam West and Steve Phillips provided the goals that ensured the trophy would be heading home with them.
Josh Joplin replied for Montys who had a fine first season in the top-flight and finish worthy runners-up.
Dudley Borough picked up a 4-0 win over Caves.
Dave Brown bagged a brace with Tom McLaughlin and Ashley Brahams also on target.
Gornal Baggeridge finished off with a 6-1 win over Netherton Liberals that sees them settle for a mid-table position.
Amongst the goal scorers for Gornal were Luke Moore, Adam Trevis, Tom Guest, Dan Trevis and Dan Allen with Ben Morse replying for the Liberals.
In Division One, Bushwackers and Short Heath battled out a 3-3 draw a result that keeps Bushwackers on course to finish third.
In the Harry Grainger Trophy Sedgley Courthouse picked up a 3-1 win against Crown Netherton to top group three.
Steve Davies, Nathan Markland and Andrew Malpass bagged the goals to put Courthouse in the semi-finals.

Gornal Baggeridge defeated Netherton Liberals whilst Coseley Jockey dented Park Inn's chances of progressing.
Philip Higginson scored twice in a 4-2 win Mark Ashurst and Sean Delaney also on target.
Park Inn's goals came from Chris Haywood and John Tudge.
The Dalley Cup was presented to Dudley Bush Old Boys.
With the game poised at 2-1 the tie could have gone either way.
Bush were the more resilient and second half goals saw them triumph 5-1.
