CRADLEY enjoyed double delight with two crushing wins on a bumper night of action at Monmore Green.

The in-form Heathens stormed into the semi-finals of the Knockout Cup courtesy of a magnificent 59-33 win over rivals Mildenhall in the second leg of their tie.

Despite already carrying a ten point lead following a tremendous victory at West Row, Cradley showed no mercy with a ruthless performance to advance to the next round.

Local lad Tom Perry stormed to a spectacular four-ride maximum from reserve including a sensational blast around Fen Tigers number one Joe Jacobs to win heat eleven.

He was joined at the front by partner Steve Worrall in that race to nullify Jacobs' attempts at double points and all but end the meeting as a contest.

Heat-leader Worrall was in flying form throughout, whilst Max Clegg continued his momentum in the middle order to add double figures, the pick of which came when he rounded Josh Bates as he took the first Mildenhall tactical ride in heat nine.

With Perry, Worrall and Clegg forming a formidable spearhead, Matt Williamson and Danny Phillips both provided superb back-up with good returns.

Nathan Greaves also fought hard for a solid points haul, whilst skipper Paul Starke added a useful 6+1 despite a difficult night at number one.

With another sublime all-around team display Cradley bagged an impressive win to continue their dominant home form.

The win came after they had demolished Scunthorpe 72-18 earlier in the night to add three more points to their National League points tally.

Cradley put in a professional performance against an inexperienced Stags side to smash their club record win for the third time this season.

Five riders went unbeaten as they cruised to a comfortable win before getting the better of the Fen Tigers with an excellent performance.

Team boss Will Pottinger was full of praise for his side after they continued their magnificent form with two big wins.

He said: "We can't fault any of the boys really - they did a good job in both meetings and did what they had to do.

"We're through to the next round of the cup and have three more league points, so it was a good night at the office.

"Everyone seemed to do well and everyone scored plenty of points, so we are pleased with how things went."
