CRADLEY face a defining spell of action over the next few days – starting with their cup semi-final at Coventry on Friday.
The Heathens head to Brandon with a massive 35-point lead – but they have to track a patched up side because of rider unavailability.
Steve Worrall, Paul Starke and Matt Williamson are all ruled out with Mildenhall’s Joe Jacobs coming in for Worrall.
On Sunday they have three representatives in the National League Riders’ Championship at Rye House – Worrall, Starke and Max Clegg.
And next Tuesday they stage their re-arranged play-off semi-final first leg clash with Mildenhall at Monmore.
Boss Will Pottinger said: “This is a vital part of the season for us and we cannot afford any slip-ups against Coventry on Friday.
“We are pleased to have Joe in the side, he’s got a good record around there and he can take up to six rides for us.
“It would be great for the club if we could have a winner from the NLRC and then we have Mildenhall again on Tuesday. It’s busy but we’re looking forward to it.”
Fans are reminded that the meeting at Coventry is the second part of a double header with the Elite League clash between the Bees and Wolverhampton going on first.
And Tuesday’s Mildenhall meeting sees admission prices slashed for those with readmission tickets - £5 adults and concessions and kids go free. A reduced programme will be produced for just £1.
