HIGH Acres K'ford secured a place in the final of the Dudley and Cradley League's Horace Benjamin Cup with a 3-0 away win against Barley Mow Wanderers.

The score does not reflect the way the match went. High Acres just seemed to edge a goalless first half with Barley Mow stuck in first gear.

The second half started similar to how the first half ended with High Acres just having the upper hand and took a deserved lead following a looping effort from Ali Ahmed.

This seemed to kick start Barley Mow who started to push on finally forcing corners but the High Acres defence handed what Barley Mow threw at them.

Barley Mow were then their own worst enemy when Luke Blakeway handled the ball in the area. Dale Whitehouse smashed the ball in to the top right hand corner from the spot kick to make it 2-0.

High Acres wrapped up the win when striker Ash Baker pounced to slot the ball in to the back and book his side a date with Lloyds in the final.

Meanwhile, in the Ray Turley Memorial Competition semi-final, Coseley Tavern beat Sedgley White Lion 5-0.

In a feisty first half Stuart Hillman scored the only goal

The second half saw Coseley come out the blocks the quickest and scored two quick goals from Scott Scriven and Stuart Hillman. Hillman then completed his hat trick before Dan Harper completed the scoring and putting Coseley into the final against Hope Tavern.

In group one of the Harry Dowling Trophy, Hasbury Rangers and Britannia drew 2-2, while the group two contest between Dudley Borough United and Halesowen Members saw Hales win 3-1.

In the Premier Division, King William and Bunch drew 1-1 after Justin Hughes' header cancelled out Chris Clift's first half lob for Bunch.

Hope Tavern claimed an 8-0 away win against Saracens Head.

In a very close first half, Saracens kept the only undefeated team in the league honest with both sides missing chances. It was not until the last minute of the half that Hope broke the deadlock with a goal from Kieran Snead.

Saracens Head came out at the start of the second half sleeping and Hope took full advantage with Kieran Snead scoring three goals in five minutes to make it 4-0.

Hope scored further goals from Kiel Williams (2), Lee Chilton and goalkeeper Josh Carder from the spot.

In Division One, Roebuck and Hadcroft Rovers drew 1-1.
