CAUSEWAY United secured their first win in five games when they beat Rocester at The Grove on Tuesday night.
The much-needed win leaves them in 16th placed and edges them further from the Midland Football League drop zone.
United were quick to bounce back from a 3-2 away defeat to Alvechurch last Saturday.
Church took the lead in the 18th minute with a goal from Connor Deards. Causeway equalised in the 21st minute with a goal from Jovan Blake-Walker.
Church then went 2-1 up just two minutes later when Danny Williams found the back of the net.
The home side then took a two goal advantage into the break when Dimitri Dunkley made it 3-1 after 28 minutes.
However, Causeway came out quickly in the second half and pulled a goal back after 48 minutes through Josh March, but with no further goals, Church held on to record a rare victory against United.
Causeway will now travel to Boldmere St Michaels this Saturday as they look for back-to-back league wins.
