COSELEY Tavern beat King William 3-1 in the Dudley and Cradley League's Premier Division.

Tavern opened the scoring when Scott Scriven tapped in a loose ball in the King William box.

A free-kick from Lewis Barfoot was smartly converted with a Danny Bellis header to level the scores at the break.

Confusion at the back put Coseley back ahead when Bellis headed back towards the King William keeper into his own net.

Tavern's third came from a Stuart Hillman headed goal from a corner.

Meanwhile, Hope Tavern beat Britannia 7-1.

In group one of the Harry Downing Trophy, Sedgley White Lion lost 4-3 to Saracens Head last Thursday before beating Hasbury Rangers 3-1 last Sunday.

King William beat Bunch 5-4 away from home.

Bunch couldn't win despite a Marcus Albert hat-trick and a strike from Lee Knowles.

King William's Jason Parkes bagged four and Ben Burke another.

In group two, Hadcroft Rovers beat Old Lark 4-2.

Hadcroft took the lead on 38 minutes with a goal from Richard West. Sam Howe increased their lead on 57 minutes before a spirited comeback from Old Lark saw them score twice through Stuart Brown and Nathan Johns.

Hadcroft now stepped up a gear with Kevin Lee scoring on 81 minutes and Richard West scoring his second and Hadcroft's fourth just before the final whistle.

Jason Chilton it a double as Hope Tavern beat Britannia 3-1 in the Premier Division.

In Division One, Lloyds put five past Halesowen Members without reply.

Goals from Jamie Colledge (2), Lee Witts, Jason Witts and Jason Wellings completed the scoring with a good strike from outside the box.

Barley Mow Wanderers and Roebuck played out a 0-0 draw.

This week will see High Acres K'ford take on Lloyds in the cup final of Horace Benjamin Competition.

The game will be at Dudley Sports FC, Hillcrest Avenue, on Friday at 7.30pm.

Coseley Tavern and Hope Tavern will do battle in the final of the Ray Turley Memorial Competition on Sunday at 11am at Gornal FC, Garden Walk.
