AFC Turners maintained their perfect start to season with a 7 - 1 success over Roebuck in the Dudley and Cradley League's Premier Division.

This was a superb game played in very difficult windy conditions. Lee Chilton opening the scoring on five minutes and scoring a second goal on 30 minutes.

Mark Garvey in the Tuners goal made a triple save on 35 minutes culminating in a brilliant save tipping over a header by Chris Hunt of Roebuck.

Turners went straight down the other end and were awarded a penalty with a foul on Lee Chilton; Kieron Snead smashed home the resulting penalty kick on 37 minutes.

On 55 minutes, Roebuck were awarded a penalty which Jack Green converted sending Mark Garvey the wrong way.

On 60 minutes Ryan Jones made it 4 - 1 to Turners, then on 70 minutes the prolific Lee Chilton scored his customary hat-trick with another well taken goal. On 72 minutes Geoff Hill made the score 6 - 1 with a sweetly struck volley from a Chilton cross. Another penalty was awarded to Turners on 82 minutes, this time Jason Gale in the Roebuck goal pulling off a fine save from Kieron Snead. However, Chilton bagged his fourth goal of the game with a cracking left foot drive into the bottom corner.

Hadcroft Rovers lost 5 - 2 at home to Kingswinford Swan.

Swan fully deserved their victory over Rovers. Kingswinford dominated the first half but it took until the 41st minute for them to break the deadlock with a goal from Luke Kellows.

The visitors started the second half at pace and scored on 47 minutes from Kevin Hall and two minutes later from Liam Hickman.

Josh Mills increased Kingswinford's lead on 59 minutes. Dean Polkey scored for Hadcroft on 62 minutes to make it 4 - 1 before Luke Kellows scored for Kingswinford on 72 minutes and Chris Smith completed the scoring with a wonderful free kick on 80 minutes.

Lloyds beat Charlton House 5 - 3.

A great game of football from both teams, it was Charlton House who opened the scoring when Luke Moulton was quickest to a back pass to beat the keeper. Luke Moulton increased Charlton Houses lead with a direct free kick . Lee Witts pulled a goal back for Lloyds just before the interval.

Lloyds pushed hard at the start of the second half and drew level on the hour with a goal from Jason Witts from just inside the area. Straight from the kick off Charlton house again took the lead when they went straight up the other end and Asif Ahmed smashed the ball in to the back of the net to make the score 3 - 2. Lloyds never gave up and drew level when Rhys Harper scored from the spot.

Kris Salt finally put Lloyds in front when he was the quickest to the ball to drive it into the back of the net 4 – 3. Jake McDivitt sealed the win for Lloyds with two minutes to go with a header.

Wollaston Harriers claimed a 3 - 1 away success at Phoenix.

Phoenix took the lead on 13 minutes with a goal from Dominik Wills. Matt Bird equalised for Wollaston on 27 minutes with a fine chipped goal.

Wollaston took the lead almost from the kick off at the start of the second half with a goal from Matt Bird after a lovely passing move that swept through the Phoenix defence. Bird completed the scoring with his hat-trick on 76 minutes to secure the points.
