STOURBRIDGE are in FA Trophy action this Saturday when they welcome Spennymoor Town to the War Memorial Ground.

The third qualifying round clash sees Gary Hackett's men up against opponents from the Northern Premier League Division One North.

Spennymoor’s FA Trophy campaign began in the Preliminary Round where they drew 1-1 away to last season’s FA Vase runners-up Glossop North End, before edging the replay 3-2. The First Qualifying Round produced a more emphatic 6-3 home win over Goole at the Brewery Field.

Having overcome two sides from their own division, the Moors then clocked up the miles in the second qualifying round to take on less familiar opposition in the form of Evesham United, where they ran out 2-1 winners.

The Glassboys, meanwhile, have had little in the way of travelling so far in the FA Trophy this season, overcoming near neighbours Halesowen Town 2-1 at the Grove before seeing off Carlton Town 2-0 at Amblecote just under two weeks ago.

Fans unable to attend the game can follow the action with the News' online updates.

We will provide team news from 2.30pm before bringing updates of the action from kick off at 3pm.
