CRADLEY face neighbours Coventry at Monmore tonight – with revenge top of the agenda (7.30pm).

The Heathens suffered a 51-39 at Brandon earlier this month and reserve James Purchase is hoping to play a key role in sending their rivals home empty handed.

“As a team we go out to win every single meeting,” Purchase said. “But when it’s a local derby or a team who’ve already beaten us – it makes us even more determined to go out there and add to our tally.

“We should have got something at Coventry a few weeks ago and if we’d hadn’t have thrown so many points away as a team then we would have probably even won.

“We came back well against the Isle of Wight last time out though and we’ll be looking to carry on where we left off there.

“We all battled well as a team that night and if we do the same tomorrow then we’ve got every chance of keeping our unbeaten home run going.”

Cradley will be without Jack Kingston who has stepped down from his team spot but have Bradley Andrews back at No.6 after two weeks on the sidelines with a foot injury.

Coventry are led by Dan Greenwood who helped the Heathens clinch their first league title in 30 years as a popular member of the 2013 team.
