TEAM Dudley bagged their first win of the season with a 5-3 away success against Old Wulfrunians.

An even start to the clash saw both sides pass up early chances before the hosts took the lead on 39 minutes when Josh Wright latched onto through ball to slot low under Callum Grant.

Less than a minute and Dudley were level as Lee Clarke beat his man before firing high into the roof of the net from a narrow angle.

Two minutes after and Clarke had his second with a drilled shot from 25 yards hitting the inside of the far post and going in.

The goals kept coming as Old Wulfs hit an equaliser of their own within a minute.

Ray Milner conceded a penalty and Noah Diallo stepped up and fired it hard and high to the right of Callum Grant to make sure the sides went in level at the break.

The second half was a quieter affair and D regained the lead on 58 minutes as a quick Matt Simmons free kick found Mitch Blackham who fired home from 20 yards.

Two minutes later it was 4-2 when when Blackman side footed into the back of the net after a wayward Alex Pinches effort.

An immediate response followed from the hosts when Noah Diallo crossed for Jumaane Meggoe to head home at the back post just after the hour mark.

However, Brad Cox wrapped up the win for Dudley on 73 minutes when slotting home after being set up by James Hawthorne.

Dudley are off the bottom of the league and will look to build on the success when they go to Penncroft this Saturday.
