TIVIDALE boss Dave King admits the next three home games are vital to his side's survival chances.

Tivi sit second-from-bottom of the Midland Football league Premier Division but will now host 16th-placed Highgate United this Saturday.

Clashes with 15th-placed Rocester and 18th-placed Boldmere St Michaels will then follow.

King says positives results over the next three weeks could hand Dale a massive survival lifeline. First they will have to bounce back from last Saturday's 5-1 loss at home to Coleshill Town.

"Without question the next three games are massive for us," said the manager.

"We are not playing as well as we can but have to just go again.

"The players know they need to step up before it's too late."

Substitute Chris Bladen bagged Tivi's only goal against Coleshill.

The visitors were already well in control thanks to a hat-trick from Craig Milligan and strikes from Simeon Cobourne and Mykel Beckley.

King added: "We were poor and didn't even get the basics right.

"They are a good side with a much bigger budget than ourselves but we know we can do better.

"Every game from now until the end of the season will be like a cup final for us if we want to get out of trouble."

Tivi will now wait on the availability of Stourbridge duo Lewis Probert and Chris Wedderburn ahead of the weekend and goalkeeper Luke Kriskinians is still missing for one more week.
