Despite monopolising possession and a dominant scrum, Stourbridge somehow managed to lose a game they might well have won comfortably at Stourton Park this afternoon, falling to a 14-19defeat.
The home side butchered three good try scoring chances in the first half and were undone by a slick Sedgley three quarter move, aided by some poor tackling.
Park extended their lead to 12-0 shortly after the restart with a converted try under the posts.
That went to 19-0 when Stour had a kick charged down in midfield and Park moved the ball smartly out for a try in the corner.
With eight minutes left Park were reduced to 13 men with two yellow cards in quick succession for persistent scrum offences and collapsing a line out maul on their own line.
A converted try by centre James Othuha under the posts finally gave Stourbridge a reward for all their pressure. 7-19.
And with the final move, after a third Park yellow, centre Rod Petty scored Stour's second converted try to bring them into losing bonus point territory.
