Glassboys boss Gary Hackett has snapped up Danny O'Callaghan from league rivals Sutton Coldfield.
O'Callaghan is an energetic, attack-minded midfielder who can also play the 'number 10' role in behind the main striker.
He progressed through the ranks into the first team at Sutton Coldfield Town and played his part in the Royals winning promotion via the play-offs to the Evo-stik League Premier Division in 2015 before linking up with AFC Telford United that summer.
That move didn't work out though with the Shropshire club undergoing a change of manager early in the season after a poor start. He returned to Sutton Coldfield at the end of August 2015, initially on a dual registration basis.
He certainly made his mark on the Glassboys last season, netting the only goal of the game in Sutton's league win at Amblecote in October and bagging another against Stour in the League Cup tie in December.
