Stourbridge RFC 36 - 12 Chester RFC
Stour made it five wins in a row with a convincing performance against a side rated as their toughest league opponents so far.
The Stourton Park side had the best of a lively first half, Chester only made a couple of attacking forays into Stour territory during the first 40 minutes.
Stour speedster Dan Rundle opened the scoring with a try after 3 minutes and the hosts added plenty more to lead 29 - 5 by the break.
Wet, cold conditions took their toll in the second half, play was more laboured as both teams slugged it out in midfield.
Chester left it late to score but Stour answered almost immediately with a converted try of their own.
