This weekend offers an unforgettable mix of major events for sports fans.

With the Winter Olympics coming to a conclusion in South Korea, key Premier League fixtures, NatWest 6 Nations action and the Carabao Cup final at Wembley on Sunday, there is plenty to keep armchair supporters happy and out of the cold.

Here, Press Association Sport provides the definitive guide to what to watch and where and when to watch it.

SATURDAY

WINTER OLYMPICS
BBC One & BBC Two – 0025 to 1630

The penultimate day of action in Pyeongchang will see Great Britain’s women curling team take on Japan for the bronze medal, while, in the men’s gold medal match, Sweden will play the United States of America.

Great Britain will compete in the heats of the four-man Bobsleigh.

Canada will take on the Czech Republic for bronze in the men’s ice hockey, while medals will also be contested in alpine and cross-country skiing as well as snowboarding and speed skating.

SIX NATIONS
Ireland v Wales – ITV 1330

After wins over France and Italy, hosts Ireland will be out to defend their 100 per cent start to the Six Nations against a Wales team determined to bounce back from a controversial defeat at Twickenham.

Scotland v England – BBC One 1600

The second part of a Six Nations double-header sees Scotland host England in the Calcutta Cup at Murrayfield. Eddie Jones’ squad also have two victories from two, while the Scots have momentum from a morale-boosting win over France last time out.

PREMIER LEAGUE
Leicester v Stoke – Sky Sports Main Event/Sky Sports Premier League 1130

The weekend’s top-flight football kicks off as resurgent Leicester host relegation battlers Stoke.

The Foxes have steadied the ship under French coach Claude Puel to climb into the top eight, but Paul Lambert’s Potters are scrapping for points in the survival battle at the other end of the table.

Watford v Everton – BT Sport 1 1700

New Hornets boss Javier Gracia knows there is plenty of hard work ahead for his side to secure their top-flight status. While the Toffees came unstuck when beaten 5-1 at Arsenal in their last away game, Sam Allardyce’s side are unlikely to prove such a soft touch again.

Other highlights: Football – Fulham v Wolves (EFL Championship, Sky Sports Main Event 1715), Barcelona v Girona (LaLiga, Sky Sports Main Event 1940); Rugby League – Castleford Tigers v Hull FC (Super League, Sky Sports Main Event 1515); Cricket – South African v India (Third Twenty20 international, Sky Sports Cricket 1555); Golf – Commercial Bank Qatar Masters (European Tour, Sky Sports Main Event/Sky Sports Golf 0900; Snooker – World Grand Prix (ITV4 1845)

SUNDAY

WINTER OLYMPICS
BBC One & BBC Two – 23:55 (Sat) to 1400

Settle in for the final day of the Winter Olympics in South Korea, which will end with the closing ceremony.

Before the flame is passed on to Beijing 2022, the last remaining medals will be decided.

The women’s gold medal curling match sees Sweden, who defeated Great Britain on Friday, take on host Korea, while in ice hockey the Olympic Athletes from Russia face off against Germany.

The final two runs of the four-man bobsleigh also take place, along with the women’s 30 kilometre cross-country skiing.

While Manchester City’s hopes of the quadruple might be over after a shock FA Cup defeat at Wigan, Pep Guardiola’s Premier League leaders can still bag the season’s first piece of silverware when they take on the Gunners at Wembley. Arsene Wenger has never won the trophy – and after more than 20 years, and a couple of near misses, could this finally be the veteran French coach’s time?

Before the attention turns to Wembley, all eyes will be on Old Trafford where Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte go head to head in the dugout.

There has been little love lost between the pair this season, but which team will do their talking on the pitch?
