STOURBRIDGE boss Neil Mitchell was still smarting over the previous week's defeat at Darlington Mowden Park as his side put relegation candidates Hull to the sword 54-0 at Stourton Park.

The Stourbridge Director of Rugby claimed: "The echo's of Darlington were still ringing in my ears. We had a 5-0 in points against us and we may very well regret that come the end of the season in what I believe is going to be a very tight league.

"We have six games in total against Darlington, Sedgley Park and Macclesfield and we've already lost two of them.

"There's no room for complacency now and no experimenting on the agenda - it's going to be a real hard race to the finish.

"The most pleasing thing against Hull was the fact we kept them to nil - not many teams can say that this season".

Stourbridge ran in a total of eight tries against Hull, winger Jamie Hearn helped himself to a couple while lock forward Niles Dacres, prop Mark George, full back Tom Jarvis, second row Ben Hughes, fly half Gary Dipple and replacement Stefan Shillingford all added their names to the scoresheet, Hearn converting seven of the tries.

Stour make the short trip to Bromsgrove on Saturday and Mitchell will remind his players of the last time the teams met.

Bromsgrove bagged a shock win at Stourbridge and Mitchell admitted: "It was a result that ultimately changed our season. We will be going there looking to put as many points on the board as possible, simply because we have to".

Both Drew Harper and Sam Robinson have returned to full training, but won't be considered for the Bromsgrove trip.
