SCOTLAND international Grayson Hart has joined Worcester Warriors as scrum-half cover until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old number nine will join Warriors after leaving Ealing Trailfinders with immediate effect.

The move comes after Luke Baldwin was ruled out for the rest of the campaign with a knee injury.

Francois Hougaard is also struggling to overcome an ankle issue leaving Jonny Arr and fit-again Michael Dowsett to battle for the jersey.

Director of rugby Alan Solomons said he was "fortunate" to secure the services of Hart who made 13 appearances for Ealing and helped them climb to second place in the Championship table.

“Grayson is a strong, physical scrum-half who has a very good understanding of the game," said Solomons.

“I know Grayson very well from our time together at Edinburgh and I have no doubt that he will fit in well alongside our current group of players."

Hart has won three caps for Scotland since making his full debut as a replacement against Canada in June 2014.

He was also part of the New Zealand Under 20s side which won the World Rugby Under 20 Championship in 2008.

His club career saw him play under current Warriors boss Solomons at Edinburgh Rugby.

He can also count Glasgow Warriors and North Harbour and Super Rugby teams Blues and New South Wales Waratahs amongst his former sides.

Hart added: “I am extremely excited to be joining up with Warriors and I will be looking to help the side as much as I can between now and the end of the season.”
