WORCESTER Warriors will kick-off their 2018-19 Premiership campaign with a home clash against local rivals Wasps.

Alan Solomons' men will host the Coventry side on Saturday, September 1 (3pm) before visiting Sale Sharks on Sunday, September 9 (3pm).

The opening month of the season also sees Warriors take on Newcastle Falcons at home and travel to Leicester Tigers and Exeter Chiefs.

Worcester will lock horns with newly-promoted Bristol Bears at Sixways on Sunday, October 7 with the reverse fixture taking place in late March.

This year’s Christmas fixture will see Warriors battle Northampton Saints at Sixways on Saturday, December 22 (3pm) while a home game with Bath in January will kick-off 2019.

April will see two huge home matches with Sale and Gloucester while the regular season will come to an end with reigning champions Saracens heading to Sixways on Saturday, May 18.

Warriors managing director Gus Mackay said: “We’re immensely excited about the new season.

“We are happy with how the fixture list has played out and hopefully we’ll see some bumper crowds at Sixways as the team look to push on up the league table.

“We are committed to having all our home Premiership games on Saturday afternoons unless dictated by TV picks, as we aim to reach out to a variety of people - in particular families.”
