WORCESTERSHIRE’S Moeen Ali is in England’s side to face Sri Lanka in the summer’s first Investec Test at Headingley, starting tomorrow (11am).
The all-rounder, who has played 23 Tests for England, looks set to continue at number eight in England's batting line-up.
Moeen has scored 949 Test runs at an average of 27.91 with a top score of 108 not out.
He hasa also snapped up 64 Test wickets with his off-spin at 39.76.
England will play three Tests against Sri Lanka, with the second starting on May 27 at Chester-le-Street and the third at Lord's from June 3.
England: Cook (captain), Hales, Compton, Root, Vince, Stokes, Bairstow, Moeen, Broad, Finn, Anderson.
