WORCESTERSHIRE pace duo Dillon Pennington and Adam Finch were part of the England under 19 side who continued their countdown to next month’s ICC World Cup in New Zealand.

They helped England to a convincing win against South Africa in the second match of their Tri-Series in Potchefstroom.

Finch came into the side for his first appearance in the series alongside Pennington who had made his debut by taking 2-30 in the 129-run win over Namibia last Thursday.

England triumphed by 112 runs via the Duckworth-Lewis Method, scoring 289-5 in 49 overs after being put into bat.

They then dismissed South Africa, who had been set a revised target of 279 in 44 overs, for 166.

Pennington took the new ball and bowled five overs for 30 runs.

Finch came on second change and claimed the wicket of Andile Mokgakane (1) when he held on to a return catch. He finished with 5-0-28-1.

England need to win one of their matches against Namibia on Wednesday and South Africa 24 hours later to make Sunday's final.
