ROSS Whiteley is gearing up for a possible 13 T20 matches in 31 days as part of the Multan Sultans squad competing in the Pakistan Super League.

The Worcestershire all-rounder has linked up with his team-mates ahead of the opening group match against Peshawar Zalmi tomorrow.

Sultans will play 10 group matches with seven taking place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The other three group matches are at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

The six teams will play each other twice in the group stages with the top four qualifying for the knockout stages.

If Whiteley and his team-mates go through, they will face a possible one or two matches to qualify for the final in Karachi on March 25.

His team-mates will include Kumar Sangakkara, captain Shoaib Malik, Darren Bravo and Imran Tahir.

Whiteley will then head for home to join Worcestershire’s ongoing preparations for the 2018 season.
