A CROP of young talent will make their List A debuts for Worcestershire in Tuesday’s 50-over tour game with West Indies A at Blackfinch New Road (11am).

Potential future stars Jack Haynes, Ollie Westbury, Alex Milton, Josh Dell, Ben Twohig, Zain Ul-Hassan and Mitchell Spencer all line up for the County.

All-rounder Twohig made his County Championship breakthrough this campaign, playing against Surrey and Essex.

Haynes and Dell have just signed their first professional contracts with the County.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Alex Milton returns from skippering Cardiff MCCU this summer after back-to-back centuries last weekend.

He scored 131 off 116 balls with two sixes and 18 fours for Port Talbot in South Wales Premier League Division One against St Fagan’s in a 13-run loss.

The following day Milton smashed 139 for Old Malvernians in a Cricketer Cup triumph over Dulwich College.

Spencer, 25, is a Stoke-born seamer who has played for Staffordshire, Unicorns and Somerset seconds this season.

George Rhodes, Ross Whiteley and Dillon Pennington, among the Rapids side who narrowly lost to Kent in the Royal London One-Day Cup semi-finals, are also included.

West Indies A are preparing for their Tri-Series against England Lions and India A.

They lost to Warwickshire at Edgbaston on Sunday.

Worcestershire: Haynes, Westbury, Rhodes, Fell, Whiteley, Milton, Dell, Twohig, Ul-Hassan, Pennington, Spencer.
