SLIM Handel 31.5.1916 Harry 25.8.1914 Herbert 17.9.1916 Thomas 12.12.1916 Handel Slim was a leading Stoker. Harry Slim (the first Blackheath man killed in World War 1) was a Coldstream Guard. Herbert Slim was a Sergeant Grenadier Guard. Thomas Slim (Uncle of Royston Thomas Slim) was a Private in the Worcs Regiment (Blackheath St Paul's Memorial).
