Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Goring, Whitchurch Hill Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 17 August 2020 Coming into force: 24 August 2020
This Order is being introduced because of gas mains replacement works which are anticipated to be completed 21 September 2020. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in part of Whitchurch Hill. (Works at Hartslock Bridleway to 60metres past the Old Lodge). Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the B471, A329 Pangbourne, Streatley,B4256 Crays Pond and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T8016/AC)

Goring, Wallingford Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 17 August 2020
Coming into force: 25 August 2020 This Order is being introduced because of footway improvement works which are anticipated to be completed on 7 September 2020. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the section of Wallingford Road between the railway station bridge and its junction with Gatehampton Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the B4009 – A4074 – B471 – B4526 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
