Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) (U12345 Horsefair and C2199 Hurcott Road, Kidderminster)(Temporary Closure) Order 2016
The Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order to close that part of U12345 Horsefair and C2199 Hurcott Road, Kidderminster in two phases as follows:-Closure 1) U12345 Horsefair - from between its junction with U12345 Horsefair to its junction with A451 Horsefair.
Closure 2) C2199 Hurcott Road - from between its junction with A451 Horsefair to its junction with U12435 Long Acre.
The Order is being made to facilitate Severn Trent works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative routes: -
Closure 1) - U12345 Horsefair, A451 Horsefair and vice versa.
Closure 2) - C2199 HurcottRoad, A449 Chester Road North, A456 Birmingham Road, A456 Coventry Street, A456 Ringway, A451 Blackwell Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days: Commencing: 8 January 2017.
(Wyre Forest District - Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2016 [Revocation of Disabled Persons' Parking Places and Disabled Persons' Parking Place on Lorne Street, Kidderminster]
On 1 December 2016 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect ofwhich will be to revoke 2 disabled persons' parking places on the
following lengths and sides ofroads in Kidderminster: Lorne Street (east side) from a point 44 metres south ofits junction with Offmore Road for a distance of 6.6 metres in a southerly direction (outside No. 62) and from a point 60.5 metres north east of its junction with Comberton Hill for a distance of 6.6 metres in a north easterly direction (outside No. 120). Create a disabled persons' parking place from a point 42.5 metres south of its junction with Villiers Street for a distance of 6.6 metres in a south westerly direction (outside No. 96).
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 22 December
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Wyre Forest District Council, Customer Service Centre, Vicar Street, Kidderminster, DY10 1DB, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
(Wyre Forest District - Stourport on Severn Area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictionsand Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2016 (Temporary Suspension of Prohibition ofWaiting and Introduction of Limited Waiting on Tan Lane, Stourport on Severn)
TheCouncil intend, notless than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily suspend Prohibition of Waiting at any time, and temporarily introduce Limited Waiting for a maximum period of 1 hour, no return within 2 hours, on the following length of road in Stourport on Severn. Tan Lane (North Side) - from a point 8 metres east of its junction with Vernon Road for a distance of 43 metres in an easterly direction.
The Order is being made to facilitate on-street parking for various purposes, whilst adjacent construction is in progress.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 15 Months: Commencing: 9 January 2017.
