Fieldings Auctioneers has been based in Stourbridge for over sixteen years. Founded by Nick Davies and Will Farmer in 2001, the business has grown into a premier national auction house.

The auctioneers hold fourteen sales per year at their Mill Race Lane saleroom, which include antique, modern design, silver, jewellery, paintings, glass and collectables.

With a team of eight expert valuers the firm have sold a huge variety of items from the iconic Athena poster tennis dress and racket for £15,500
to rare items from the regions glass heritage such as this George Woodall Cameo Glass plaque for £104,160.

“The business has changed drastically since we started and now with live, real time internet bidding we reach buyers all over the world from Amblecote to Australia!” says Nick, who is a regular expert with the BBC’s Flog it! Programme. Not to be outdone Will can be seen on the Antiques Roadshow where he has been a resident fixture for the last fourteen years.

Fieldings also undertake valuations for probate, insurance and family division and work closely with national and local solicitors. They have also advised major companies such as Cadburys, British Gas, Wyre Forest and Wolverhampton Councils.

Every Tuesday from 10.00am to 4.00pm Fieldings open the doors for a free valuation day, when members of the public can bring their items to be valued - these days are great fun, you never know what to expect.
