DREAMLAND Furniture first appeared in Brierley Hill back in 1976.

Since then, Dreamland has become a well-established name throughout the borough and beyond.

General manager Matthew Randle admitted complete surprise that Dreamland had been nominated for an award.

He said: "It would be a great privilege to win as there are a great many independents within the borough who work hard to improve the district.

"As an independent SME, we have tripled our bottom line approach to business and basically we put people, planet and profit considerations into every strategic decision we make.

"I think our ethical considerations stand us in good stead to be a good corporate citizen - which should be the aim of every business.

"We have put a massive effort into this business and it's great seeing that someone has noticed and nominated us.”
