THREE top British chefs will host a day of banquets at the now famous 'Dinner at Clough's' during this year's Festival No. 6.

In tribute to Sir Clough Williams-Ellis - the inspirational architect who created Portmeirion, the stunning festival setting – all banquets will include a specially created sumptuous three-course meal at the iconic Hotel Portmerion on the banks of the River Dwyryd.

Friday is hosted by No.6 Chef-In-Residence - Aiden Byrne - of the new 20 Stories in Manchester.

Former head chef at The Grill, London Dorchester, at the age of 22 Aiden became the youngest chef ever to win a Michelin star.

Taking the reigns on Saturday is Calum Franklin of the Holborn Dining Rooms at Rosewood Hotel.

Having started his career at the Michelin-star Chapter One in Kent then developing his talents at establishments such as The Ivy and Indigo at One Aldwych Hotel he was appointed Executive Head Chef of Holborn Dining Rooms in 2014.

Calum combines traditional cooking techniques with clever flavour combinations to create a comforting yet contemporary British menu.

And completing the line-up for the Sunday finale is Wales' own, Michelin Star holder Gareth Ward.

The creative force behind one of Wales’ most renowned restaurants - Ynyshir Hall - Gareth secured a Michelin Star in his first year and five AA Rosettes shortly after.

Gareth’s menu will draw heavily on local produce but with an eastern twist.

The gastronomic extravaganza also includes the UK's best street vendors, with festival-goers able to sample delights including British Street Food Awards best burger winner Cheeky Burger, Camden-born hotdog stand Popdogs, and grilled cheese sandwich perfectionists The Cheese Truck.

Those fancying a tipple can pick up Peroni Nastro Azzurro, which is this year’s exclusive beer partner.

The firm will be taking up residence on site with ‘The House of Peroni presents The Aperitivo Bar’, centrally located on The Village Green and beautifully transformed with an Italian theme to reflect the heritage of Peroni and the unique Italian inspiration behind Portmeirion.
