BETSY'S ear for hooks and impressive powerhouse vocals have certainly gone a long way in cementing her place in pop.

Born on a goose farm in rural Wales, she found her voice during campfire sing-alongs and was keen to pursue a career in music.

But after being encouraged by her family to find a fall-back, she moved to London to study fashion design.

She soon landed a job at Balenciaga in Paris but soon decided that her heart belonged in music.

So she swapped what many of her peers deemed the 'job of a lifetime' and returned to Wales to make music in a grotty caravan in her brother’s garden.

Her decision ultimately paid off and fans can witness her commanding presence as she performs her new single Little White Lies, alongside other material from her self-titled debut album at Birmingham's O2 Institute 3 on Saturday (November 25).
