Puppets of EastEnders stars Danny Dyer and Steve McFadden will debut in the second series of satirical sketch show Newzoids.
The puppets of the actors – who play Albert Square’s Mick Carter and Phil Mitchell – will be seen when the topical animation show returns to ITV for a six-part series starting in September.
Danny’s puppet sports a waistcoat and some stubble, while Steve’s is bald and clad in a navy top.
The newcomers join the likes of Louis Walsh, Nicole Scherzinger, Jeremy Corbyn and Princess Charlotte, whose puppets have all been unveiled in recent weeks.
Other puppets joining the show include Donald Trump, Zayn Malik and Bear Grylls, adding to the 70 existing Newzoids characters who include the Queen, Ant and Dec and Simon Cowell.
Featuring the voices of impressionists Jon Culshaw, Debra Stephenson, Lewis MacLeod and Simon Greenall, the first series of the programme aired in April 2015.
Newzoids returns to ITV in September.
