A 90 YEAR-old pedestrian who died following a collision with a skip lorry in Brierley Hill has been named by police.
Arnold Soulsby, of Myles Court, John Street, Brierley Hill, was confirmed dead at Russells Hall Hospital, after the incident at the junction of High Street, Bank Street and Level Street, near Brierley Hill Police Station at around 1.30pm on January 30.
An inquest into the pensioner’s death, who was set to celebrate his 91st birthday on February 20, was opened and adjourned by the Black Country Coroner this morning.
Any witnesses to the incident are asked to call police on 101.
