DUDLEY school pupils have been finding out if they have made the grade as GCSE results are released across the region.

At Castle High School and Visual Art College 84 per cent of students got five or more grades A* to C with 49 per cent getting five or more passes including English and maths.

At Bishop Milner Catholic School 87 per cent got five or more grades A* to C with 74 per cent hitting the five plus pass rate including English and maths.

At Dormston School 70 per cent of pupils got five or more grades A* to C with 55 per cent including English and maths, Ellowes Hall Sports College scooped a 99 per cent five plus A* to C rate with 79 per cent including English and maths and 71 per cent of High Arcal Academy students got five or more passes with 47 per cent A* to C including English and maths.

Hillcrest School and Community College returned results which show 85 per cent got five or more passes at grades A* to C with 57 per cent including English and maths while 68 per cent of Holly Hall Academy pupils collected five or more grades A* to C with 39 per cent including English and maths.
