OLD Halesonians head for South Leicester this Saturday looking to keep themselves in the thick of this season’s National League Three Midlands title race.
The Wassell Grove side currently occupy third spot behind powerful Warwickshire sides Broadstreet and Nuneaton.
Halesonians team manager Simon Hussey realises his side cannot afford to slip-up at South Leicester and insisted: “There can be no complacency from us. “South Leicester are a physical outfit and, like a number of sides in this division, they will be difficult to beat on their home ground, but we need to win and keep the pressure on the leaders.”
Hales have lost winger Joe Oxford for the rest of the season having dislocated his knee in the victory over Scunthorpe.
But Hussey confirmed: “We should have sufficient cover with Jack Manners and Simon Sabel both available.”
