A SCHEME has been launched to introduce a network of community information points across Dudley borough.
Trained staff will be available to provide people with information concerning health, wellbeing, social care services and support.
There will also be help on offer about benefits and debt support.
The information points will be situated in prominent public places such as libraries, pharmacies, churches and community groups.
Dudley borough council has joined forces with a number of local organisations and charities along with Healthwatch Dudley and the Citizens Advice Bureau to provide the information points.
It's hoped Dudley residents will be able to obtain the necessary information they need and avoid getting into crisis situations.
Over 150 people representing various organisations attended the official launch of the information points at Brierley Hill Civic Hall.
Deputy Mayor Steve Waltho said: "The information will support residents exactly when they need it and signpost them to the correct services which will support them along their way".
